The report, Corruption Perception Index 2012, produced by the NGO Transparency International, ranks Cape Verde as one of the least corrupt countries in Africa, second to Botswana and followed by Rwanda.
Transparency International releases the yearly report, having the latest been published on Wednesday, December 5, 2012. It ranks countries/territories on perceived levels of public sector corruption, on a score of 0 to 100, being 100 the lowest level of perceived corruption and 0 perceived as highly corrupt.
