Ambassador José Luis Rocha is the newly accredited Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Cabo Verde to the United States of America.

The ceremony took place at the White House, on July 14, 2014, where Ambassador Rocha presented the Letters of Credence to President Obama.

Before arriving in DC, Ambassador Rocha, a career diplomat, served as the Secretary of State for External Relations at the Ministry of External Relations in Cabo Verde.
